*I'm officially done with grad school (round 2). I still don't know my grades, but I know I at least got Bs (if not As), and that's all that counts. 2/13 classes down (2/12 if they accept my research methods class as a transfer--cross your fingers!). My sister got married yesterday, so I now have a new brother-in-law! The wedding was short and sweet, and everything went really well. I had fun driving Becky and Sara around all morning, the wedding was completely drama-free (sometimes I wondered if people were trying to compensate for the lack of drama!), and now it's all over with ( Read more... ) -

Frankly, I'm impressed that I was able to come up with 25 things! Who knew I was so interesting!

...and a very lazy LJ poster! So I'm a student again, and I'm excited about it! I may be unemployed, but at least now I'm doing something productive. I read for like 7+ hours today. I guess it's about time I posted something. I am back in the States, as of last week. So far, so good! I now have a phone, a computer, and a car. I'm American again! Still no job though; I'm working on it, but I guess there's not much to be done the two days before Christmas. Exciting update!
We FINALLY started building latrines this past week! I am so excited, I will post pictures someday soon, probably when they are all finished. We got a ton of work done, too--basically the only thing lacking is to reinforce the holes for the 2 latrines that will be at the school (they haven't dug the holes yet, which is why we haven't reinforced ( Read more... ) -
Good news!
I got into one of the universities that I am applying to! Granted, it seems like it was the easiest one to get into, but damn it, it´s accredited, and it´s nice to know that no matter what, I will be studying somewhere!
Yay me!
