I was directed to this comm by the lovely ink_n_imp , who is in all things wise and knowledgeable. I caught the 1776 fever around the 4th of July, fittingly enough, and have been tormenting friends and loved ones about it ever since. So far I've arm-twisted about half a dozen people into watching the movie, and I even got waldorph  to write a little something.
