One of my favourite jobs was when I worked at a graphic design/web publishing firm, and I was doing copy editing. I was in front of a computer all day, and I loved it.
Do what you love. Not everyone hates their job. No one loves their job every single day. But generally? I love mine. 95% of the time. I don't wake up hating it and hating life.
I think its highly doable and good that you are determined. I found all those things (hating your job is mostly mental so I exclude that one) and i didn't even realize it till I read your post and you got me thinking.
I went to a seminar from a teacher that teaches wine appreciation at my school... and she totally changed my life. she talked about finding out who you are in order to find out what you should do - she of course related it to her experience in the wine industry as someone who wouldn't be happy in a conventional job.
I have people tell me shit like this all the time "everyone hates their job!" well, no they don't. this woman doesn't, and she doesn't sit at a desk or even work in a building most of the time. she wears what she wants, talks the way she wants and is super happy. She really made me think about who I am and what kind of job would make me happy - not which job field, but what kind fo actual WORK.
congrats on finding something that works for you :) Not everyone does, apparently.
