So over the last 2 days I have been a cyclone of cleaning and fixing all around this house and outside. I cleaned out the fireplace yesterday, and vaccumed the living room, spot treated all the random spots on the furniture and floor with club soda, moved all the cushions on the chair and sofa around so they're fluffier and cleaned out my bathroom ( Read more... )

Hello flannel pjs and wool sweaters... you's my bitches now!

So my Driving lessons are half over. I've driven on Columbia Pike, Little River Turnpike every day, Braddock Road, Old Columbia Pike, Four Mile Run, George Mason Drive, Leesburg Pike, Gallows Road, and various other side roads and streets. Went driving around Fairfax and Arlington today. We did driving on the road almost the entire lesson and she only had to correct me once. Like down Columbia Pike to Four Mile Run and George Mason Drive and all that. She was amazed at how well I was navigating the roads, but I told her that it's only from being on them like 5 times a day almost ( Read more... )

Second lesson today, finally. She called me yesterday saying the car was almost ready and if it was ready by the time she had my lesson scheduled we'd go driving, but she never called me back. No driving lesson today, something was wrong with her car and she couldn't find a replacement before our lesson. And then double crappy news, my Dad took my phone to the warranty and repair place and they told him that the plug being IN the phone counted as physical damage, not something that was accidental.
