It is indeed! Taking a seven-year break from fandom seems to have done me good in the writing department, lol! I had always been too shy to do sexy fics before, but now that I'm closer to 30 than 20 I'm just like "Why the hell not?" XD I still don't see myself as being one of those slashers who slashes everyone in sight, but damn, when canon gives us this much to work with, who am I to resist?

I am so glad that you felt the characterization was correct, and that I did a good job with the powers... as ultimately, for me that's the largest part of what makes this pairing so compelling. Yeah, they're two super hot guys (with accents! huzzah!) and so of course sex between them is awesome to think about. But more importantly, they're Charles Xavier the telepath and Erik Lehnsherr the metalbender, and that's something I wanted to come through very strongly, as I wouldn't have written this fic in the first place if the characters and their abilities weren't so fantastic.

Thanks so much for your comments about the characterization. Most of the fic I've read so far in this fandom has been really good about characterization, but sometimes it does fall flat and then you're just kinda left going "meh, I want to like this, but no."

For as much as Charles likes to flirt I think he's fairly awkward when it comes to actually getting the job done, and Erik is just so fucked up it's a miracle he can even become friends with Charles, lol, so I didn't picture either of them "seducing" the other one on purpose, haha.

And yes, sex with powers going crazy is a kink of mine as well, especially since it seems like fandom has honed in on the awesomeness of telepathy during sex but has rather neglected Erik's power in that regard.
