Yeah, me too. I wonder if anyone knows how to get in touch with her.

Gah, I'd totally forgotten about Theresa's mom. I expect she's OK, handing out quesadillas to the newly homeless.

I was in the waiting room at a doctor (for mom) when I heard the news. It sounded like this: earthquake... blah. blah. blah. Chino Hills.
*Famous's head snaps up.* Chino? Ryan!

I'm relieved that no one was hurt.

I did the exact same thing - my ears perked up at the word "Chino".
I agree - good to hear that no major injuries occurred.

I wonder if my sister and nephew felt it in Ventura.....

It was supposedly felt as far away as San Diego -so I think they probably did.

Hee. My mom called approximately 14 seconds after it happened to find out if I was all right. I was like, "Mom, Northern California, remember?" And she said, "But I've never heard of this place, Chino. I didn't know where it was!"

At which point I went "Chino!" and upset her because she thought I was lying about Chino being close.

Like, Yeah, Mom, don't worry - it's not anywhere near here. All is well.

Now we know why they don't have that PF Changs...
Yip - the bleak hills of Chino - earthquakes, no laughter, lack of dancing, Ryan living in Berekley. Poor Chino-ittes.
*sigh*

On the flist trip, it was noted how Chino 'doesn't have anything except gloom and doom - no laughter, no sunshine, etc.
And PF Changs would likely have lost some stock.
