I am also in college and almost forgot about this until like, yesterday.

Ultimately everything is going quite well. I'm meeting many new people and despite the lack of learning NEW things, it's good to feel on top of things.

actually, my transition to college life has been pretty simple. Like, I haven't felt overwhelmed in the least.

And I'm taking gov't, psych, english 102, and western civ.

Well then wait until your sophomore year...it's like high school all over again. I've got more homework now than I've ever had. It's rediculous. And me with 13 credits. *le sigh*

wait, you're not overwhelmed / you're on top of things???

something is clearly awry on my side of the state then... how do you become this, how you say "on top of things"?? I'm trying but clearly, I'm missing some key component already so soon into the semester..

uh, it's called only 15 credit hours and classes that the only homework thus far is reading like, 25 pages at a time. That and on tuesdays I only have one class. Thursdays I technically have two, but one of them is my seminar class which really doesn't amount to anything. The only thing tying up my time is the theater stuff which I actually enjoy. This is rocking out thus far.

Are you in a play yet? How are the theater people at simpson?
I got into Julius Caesar, but i dont know which part i got yet. The directors doing the play with an ensemble cast, and hes going to decide the roles over the course of the rehearsals. Its going to be pretty interesting - especially the fact that were performing julius caesar with an all-female cast.
The theater group here is awesome - theyre called the blackfriars, and they go to a lot of plays in the atlanta area. Im going with them to a show at an improv theater tonight, so im really excited. Plus i only need 125 hours to join the group, so i might be able to become a member by the end of the year.
