Ronins! Fight-o!

For Wayne's pre-birthday celebration, he and I and two of his friends decided to get together and play videogames. Sounds slightly lame, I know, but multiplayer GC games are not something to be missed, if you enjoy that sort of thing.

Well, I can sympathize with you there. Not being able to crouch or shoot on a diagonal just drives me insane... I gave up on the original Metroid after about 10 minutes.

Zero Mission is definitely worth your while, though, if you have a GBA / GBA Player. Easily my favorite game on the console.

Shane: Ah, I knew there was a game I missed. I guess I didn't remember it because we didn't do too much with it. (Two games each, I believe, which were not very many in the grand scheme of things.) I would like to point out that I had lost quite a few of my skills in MvC2 as well, relying on semi-cheap Tron/Gambit cheese to pull what victories I had. It hurts not having that game. :-/

And... I don't think Wayne intended the "gimmick" remark as an insult (at least, not a personal one...) Keep in mind, though, that when he made that remark, you had done the sidestep/throw combo against me about three times in a row. It wasn't that you were doing them too many times, it's that you did them in a row, which made it seem like you had a gimmick ( ... )

You haven't read the Modern Menace Manual, have you? In what has become the standard d20 modus operandi, there are quite a few templates/races/etc. that have been outlined, including half-aliens and quite a few undead. Not to mention that it is actually encouraged for the "humanoid" races to be included, as has been outlined in the monster section of the core book. If Wayne was going to add in monsters, there would be no lack: while that would work for me (excluding the half-alien nonsense,) I thought that you might "enjoy" this information.

And I should mention that the major difficulties I have in Mario Kart involve my driving: as the backseat driver/gunner, I do extremely well. It's the turns that get me. >_<;; Though I would enjoy playing in a bit more competitive environment, and if your brother is so much better than you are... Well, it would be a fun experience, methinks. It's just a shame that DD is still $50, or else I'd get a copy for my own use.
