Well tomorrow is the day of my surgery.  I have to be at the Hospital at 9:45 and an hour after that I go under.  I can't eat or drink after midnight tonight and tomorrow I'll probably spend most of it sleeping.  I hope everything goes well.  It's just a tonsilectomy, a very minor surgery, but still I can't help be a bit anxious.  How will I feel

My second mate had surgery before. A little more serious than tonsillectomy, he had to have his Achilles's tendon removed and replaced with a pig tendon. I remember him trying to describe what it was like coming out of anesthesia... I think he described the feeling as being akin to feeling like a mindless, drooling zombie.

I had a classmate in fourth grade who had their tonsils removed. I remember her complaining of sore throat for days. When she was back in class, we all asked her if she got to have lots of ice cream, and she said, "No." I remember that making me laugh... I think it was the way she said it.

But, hey. No problem. You'll be fine. I'm certain you're above some whiny fourth grade bitch I knew. *giggles* :o)

The anesthesia was actually alright, I did fine!
