Oh, this is just brilliant! I'm laughing, I'm crying, it's better than Cats! I want to read it again and again!

I once had a couple of friends, a literal couple, include me in their SIM family as their third.

I wasn't sure if it was a hint, or what.

Sims 2 was my least favorite of the franchise. I found it klugy, with severe difficulty getting Sims to follow my instructions. I also hated that neighbors would just walk into the house and create random mayhem while I was trying to get my families to do things. Apparently the game designers thought I would find this funny. It was simply annoying.

If I wanted to see adults behave like arrested adolescents, I would have watched Jersey Shore or something.

NOTE: I have never watched Jersey Shore, and I intend never to do such a thing.

Sims 3 corrected a lot of that nonsense.

Hmmm, I had varying luck with them obeying my commands. Obviously I had very bad luck with the first family following commands. I just started a Lesbian Couple, or well tried to anyhow. I guess what I really got is two women living together. But for some reason they are too obedient about many commands. They will immediately interrupt almost anything, except some kind of training, to go do something else. Training I have to actively cancel to get them to go. I have to be careful to let them finish eating or showering or they will drop it immediately. They do everything too slow. I wonder if coffee might help?

Ah yes, Good advice on the alarms. My new sims are buying up nice stuff. They got the big screen TV that boosts your cooking skill just for watching it. I'm not sure how to get them to "Work Out" using the TV though. Is there some kind of other accessory I still need to buy for them? I assumed it was just like some kind of workout tape or something.

I would love to read a Sims post from you! I'm working on getting pictures of my Sims so I can put them in the post. I'll get to that in a bit.

Yeah, definitely good to protect the investments. Working out should be fine just using the TV, although sometimes if the couch is too close to the television, sims don't have space to work out. There's also exercise equipment you can buy, but it's kind of pricey.

I should maybe cross-post the original post I wrote, or write up the one for Worth. I won't be able to have pictures, unless I take really crappy pictures of my DS with the camera. xD I will definitely have to see your next post, then. ^^

When you feel you need a real challenge for your Sims abilities, you can try the Legacy Challenge:
http://www.legacychallenge.com/lcnewrules.html

Even more severe than that is the Apocalypse Challenge (listed under Other challenges on that website).

Good luck and good fun!
