A friend was kind enough to give me his older Mac Mini. It's a lovely little box and it does quite a few nice things. This is the first Apple product I have ever owned though I did play around with my Dad's Apple II back in the day. The only trouble I have had so far is trying to get it's Airport Extreme card to talk to my Verizon FiOS Router.

I am frequently dismayed to find such rubbish as Homeopathic "Remedies" on the store shelves whenever I walk into the pharmacy department at Giant or other places. This stuff has zero credibility but there are supposedly smart people who believe in this stuff. I guess the ultimate test of human gullibility would be to invent a new mystical art.

I have learned a lot of things about the game play in the Sims this week. First of all it's a great idea to keep your Sims as happy as possible. The BBC has once again outdone themselves with this terrific series. I have been watching them on YouTube and hoping that nobody posts a "take down" notice on them.
The series is called 'Brain Story' and it is quite enlightening.
