When said uppity kitten gets rambunctious, I apply the dodge and swat method. First is a flat pawed jump to the highest point near, gaining the high ground is something that the kitten does not understand. Darwin and myself went down to D.C. yesterday to eat cherry blossoms. Hopped on the go-cart and went down the road. Zipped under the turnstile at the metro and attached to the side of a train. The small annoying one is still around.
Less small and less annoying at least.
She still insists on chasing me around, and attempts to fight with me. I've taken the SWAT STOMP and RUN OVER method of dealing with her. Or biting her paws to remind her that I have teeth. Nice shiny clean pointy teeth that I like to show off now.

The little one, named Lucy Lu Lu apparently, is finally beginning to act more like a cat than one of my hyperaccelerated flexible spheres. She still jumps at many small noises such as the mouse dispenser and the whirring fan above the stove that leads to nowhere. But there is some glimmer of intelligence there.
