As a few of you know, and most of you have probably figured out, the Lordaeron Journalists is a quiet guild. Many times I am on by myself. Therefore, I have decided it is time for Glaekin and Gwendie to find a new guild and start to prepare myself for the end-game content

/giggle @ LJ. seems a lot of you guys are having a lot of the exact same issues i was in the guild. seems kinda funny how it just took you all longer to figure it out. this isn't necessarily directed to square mountain, but to the guild in general. seems this guild has more drama than a jerry springer show. it's great that you guys formed a social guild on WOW from livejournal, but i think the fatal flaw is, a social guild in a game that is meant to be played, well, you're not going to get anything done. people want to play as well as be social. go ahead and be social, but don't forget you're playing a freaking game that requires teamwork. be social WHILE you play, WHILE you run ZG or MC. comeon, you can talk AND run through an instance at the same time *gasp*. and you guys really need to stop being so touchy with one another. grow a thicker skin. it's a game. joke around, goof off, run some raids, play some pvp, but have a little fun and take it for what it is. a GAME

You just say all that because most of us tolerated you, at most. And the only reason we did that is because we liked Shard.
And, I must say, you've obviously never played MMOs before if you think LJ had even an inkling of the drama most of the bigger guilds have. With the exception of one or two peopl, the rest of us got along nicely. We were social at the same time, and still are. Some of us just wanted to have fun and be social with more people and do more fun stuff we couldn't do with just the few of us.
So, all that to say:

If you need help transferring the leadership (as the new leader has to be online at the time /gleader is given), or just want to stick it to Basanti, who will be a journalist as long as the server remains up and who knows if you might want to move your lock someday, let me know.

This guild was a good one, and I miss it, but it will never regain its former glory, it will never be as active, and there will always be people-in Twilight Hope, HH, and other places-who will look upon anyone left in it scornfully. Guess it's time for me to wrap it all up...

The guild was fun, but it looks like it has served it's purpose.

Just so you know, I'm looking to join Merry Band of Misfits. Drakorcantis said being a member of LJ was good enough for him, so thanks to you, Darla, DaJoey, Cindi, and all the others for creating such a great reputation.

my original post up top wasn't ignorant at all. i was merely pointing out that you all have been generally making mention that LJ is a social guild, but that you want to do endgame content. that was part of my beef with LJ originally. i couldn't find a group in guild to save my life. you all were out goofing around doing nothing in particular, and not really running any instances, or questing all that much. now it seems everyone is taking their mains to other guilds so they can do engame. and it seems that a bunch of people are upset about it, in some way or another. my point originally, was that you can BE a social guild. and you can BE friends and chat and whatnot, AND go raid, AND do endgame things. lord, half the raids i'm in, we are laughing and joking and BSing through the whole thing, bosses and all. you don't have to sacrifice one for the other, was the basic point. sure, i got a jab or two in, but the meat of it was more "hey, um, DUH, you can have your cake and eat it too, people". aside from personal differences between me
