I like this Fast Fiction idea. The only thing I have to compare it to are these things I wrote in 2003. They are pap, but I'd go back to trying to write that junk if there was something creative going down. *is a sucker for your adventurous literary excursions*

I still reckon you're a much better writer than you give yourself credit for.

Also liking the fast fiction idea. I've been mainly focusing on learning how to edit myself because a lot of the time I just go on and on...which I don't think is hard to imagine, huh...dotdotdothintdot

I'm kinda the same, which is why I'm diong it to discipline myself as a writer. The format kinda forces you not to go on and on.

sounds a lot like the "automatic writing" (least i think thats what they called it; can't be bothered to check) practised by jack kerouac and the other beat writers. except they used a lot more amphetamine.

whatever happened to carli neway?

Automatic writing is when you're in a more or less semi-concious state and you just write, or you start out writing weith the intention to write, and then keep going until it becomes more or less an unconcious "automatic" act. It's undisciplined and I don't really see it as very creative as such. I'm sure it's fun, and it worked for William Burroughs (but then again reading William Burroughs is more or less a real drug experiance in itself ( ... )
