The Holidays are ambushing me as always. They crouch behind Thanksgiving, chuckling, knowing that I will walk into their devious trap, unprepared.... They just come up so fast I can't see them coming anymore

I get in on the Dec. 19, and I think I leave on Jan 6 (it might be the fifth). Congratulations to Steven, though it still frightens me every time somebody I graduated highschool with gets hitched.
Heh, yeah. One interesting part of living near Kingston is all the people I meet and hear about. I ran into Sarah Christian today. She is teaching at the Elementary school with my mom (Special Ed, I think mom said). She told me that Sara Nall and Kristen Seaman work at Cherokee. Then I got some of the gossip on the old elementary school teachers. For instance, Mrs. Thacker is now divorced and her husband has married a mail-order bride from Russia that can't speak English. I swear those schools are like soap operas sometimes. Then again, I suppose I just get the juicy bits...

And good heavens, that's a big contingent from our class that's gone into education.
