No, what we really need to do is send someone through a Stargate and have the wormhole pass through the sun, dragging a hyperheavy element with them, so the whole sun eventually explodes from sheer plot overconvolution.
Did you hear they are thinking of making sequels to Stargate (movie)? (apparently the guy who made the movie originally had a trilogy in mind, the studio was more in control so the plan didn't go through back then)
I'll be shitted. That is certainly pretty complicated with the whole TV series existing, but freaking hella cool nonetheless. Will any concepts at all from the original sequels survive, do you know?
Supposedly the 2nd movie is supposed to take place 12 years later (which fits since it's been twelve years approximately). As far as what I heard they are gunna try to fit this in before the Stargate series took place, trying not to step on their toes. I'll send you the link, it was one of the things that came out of Comicon (as well as talks of a 3rd Ghostbuster movie, speaking of hard to believe revivals). http://filmforce.ign.com/articles/720/720070p1.html
