As for the major, thats really a tough one... I'm still not sure whether I would've been better off going into business instead of engineering. But I wouldn't do anything besides that. First I think pick what kind of engineers you would want. To me, it seems as if ChemE and AEP are the only ones you seem seriously interested in. So pick between business and ChemE/AEP. It really depends on what you wanna do with it. As for the place, that should be decided after you pick the major... but all those that you have listed are all good for various majors, but quetion: what happened to Upenn?

i think the best option for you combines both engineering and math......you should study applied mathematics......with a degree like that, you could still do almost anything

and with the schools, your best fit probably is still MIT

i'm just trying to help....dave

1st off the major. I personally wouldnt be able to see u as anything less than an engineer. I know u'r insanely sick when it comes to business. Don't worry. Do me a favor, take a deep breth and pet Max. If u really want more to do with business u can consider majoring in bussiness tech or engineering management or sometihn. But i personally believe that both of them are crap. But thats me. If u decide to stick with engineering, it doesnt really matter what you initially pick, Most places(i dont know of any exceptions, but there has to be) start off all engineers with the same crap the 1st couple of semesters. So don worry about that so much ( ... )

So, I saw this link in your profile, and was like whoa, didn't know he had a lj.

Is it weird that you remind me of myself? In some aspects. Like w/the second guessing part, I have 8 colleges I'm applying to, but a lot of them I keep switching around. And a LOT of the colleges I'm applying to are ones you're.. er... considering? applying to? But that isn't surprising, because we met at gsET, haha ( ... )
