wow every second movie makes my breathing change and my heart quicken. I'm a pansy when it comes to movies. Anyuthing a little thrillerish these days makes me wanna die. I like movies like that but the anticipation drives me batty haha

This must have been pretty full on then. Watching while the sun is out will probably do the trick.

We just saw it, and yah, its really good in laying on the suspense. Mike knows he gets one scary movie a year so it has to be a good one worth watching. I kept flashing back to it all day yesterday. *shudders*

Watch it alone, in the dark, with your front door unlocked.

You'll be fine.

;)

Or watch it in the afternoon like I'm going to.

I have yet to watch a "scary" movie that didn't make me laugh. Think this one is different?

Not entirely. This one was very well done on the mood side of things. But there were parts of the story that were weak and might induce laughs or maybe groans (weak protagonists, who at times were clueless).

But the mood mixed with my own personal fears really served to screw me up when I watched it at night alone.

When I watched it later with more activity in the house, I still enjoyed it and there were soime nice jolts, but my own phobias were re being held at bay.

I do recall having some heebee-geebees while reading some H.P. Lovecraft late at night. You should try reading The Color Out of Space, when you get the chance. I bet that will put you on edge.
