The weekend before last the power went out on Sunday afternoon, bushfires, wind storms etc. Didn't come back on till Wednesday evening. By then everything in the fridge/freezer had melted of course. And it wasn't enough to bother claiming on the house insurance but the electricity people won't pay compensation if you have insurance. Anyway it was all better till Monday when the wind picked up again and the power went out for another 4 hours so it was fresh in my mind when I posted.

Living life by shaker torches and glowsticks is fun - but sucking on cold teabags isn't.
