You've produced an excellent character study of Petunia.

Her current method of coping was to act as if anything Harry did, even talking to snakes, was perfectly normal.

This is a realistic extension of Canon!Petunia. You can just feel the fear she would be experiencing and her way of coping with it is spot on.

Agreed. That was a great line, very well-judged.

Rather sad story, although Harry would still care for the Dursleys I would think. It's the sort of situation where I'd like the story to be longer so we could see more.
