Black bean burger recipe (reposted to main section for convenience)

1 can black beans, washed (or equivalent reconstituted dry black beans). Pour into a large bowl. (Note: I keep meaning to mash 1/3-1/2 of the beans, adding the rest whole. Hasn't been a problem, per se, but I believe that doing so would result in a more cohesive burger ( Read more... )

Well then I'm glad I can spread the recipe around. They've actually gotten better in the intervening years. I've resolved the early problem of the burgers either being too crumbly or too dry, among others
