Thankee! It seems to work pretty well, actually. The pieces i machined today were perfect, except I machined them backwards! DOH!!! *GRRRR*

but at least they were perfectly backwards! :P

There's a definite mechanical geekiness gap there. I'd just take it as a given that you need a mill.

A lot more useful than some silly tie, suit, or such.

Danke! Yes, indeed I am happy to finally have the machine set up for easier work. BUT... two things were proven tonight.

First... all the tools in the world cant save operator error.

Second... the DRO works PERFECTLY.

How did I prove this??? I machined the stinken panel BACKWARDS!
.... but.... Perfectly backwards at that ;P
