Illinois has an early voting program and I took advantage of it yesterday, post-chemo treatment. That's one less person in line on election day (and one less thing on my mind

I'll have to remind him of that. The thought that they could still somehow manage to steal this election.... god, that just burns me. I remember the last election, and the reports we were getting from our people on the ground in Ohio, which were later mysteriously overturned. Grrr.
I doubt I'm going to be able to vote early, but you bet your ass I'm going to be there on the 4th. I'm glad you got it out of the way. Did you have any problems with it?
And MAN, I wish I could go to Naperville to see the boys. It's almost like type casting. . . but not quite. :-D
I wish you could have been in our living room on Tuesday night for the "rehearsal" Rich and Don did. I was on book for them, so I couldn't laugh my ass off. But it was great fun for everyone, even those cats who kind of enjoy being freaked out by Don. There was much stomping, eye rolling, shouting, snarling, and panting.
Early voting was crowded, which I should have been expecting but didn't. But other than that, it was very smooth and everything seemed to be on wheels. And YES, I'll see you Monday. :)
Oh, I wish you could have been in Naperville on Saturday night, Mews. It was dark, it was stormy (nature's special effects), and Rich had a lot of fun scaring small children. :)
To answer your other question, yes, I'm now getting the new-to-me chemo drugs. So far it's an easier infusion and the side effects have been minimal, thank the Lord.
I'm really bummed that I can't come to see you guys. That would be such an ideal visit, but that gives you Trueriver all to yourself (and you all to Trueriver's self, er...if that makes any sense!)) *sending my love up there*

Seriously, we were thinking of you (and Baranduin, and Hanarobi, and everyone) as we wandered the bowels of O'Hare, talking porny.
