and then I'm officially on vacation and off to the Sideshow Gathering !!! Wooo-fucking-hooo!!! I haven't had any vacation time since we made the trek last year and I am sooo ready to get out of town! Of course, I've still got a million things to do before we leave at 4am tomorrow, so tonight will be a frenzy of activity with hopefully a few hours

Thanks, Hon!! It's a really, really fun time! You meet some very interesting people at this thing! and it's always nice to go someplace where you're not going to be the biggest freak in the room! :)

I so wish this event wasn't in early September. I'll never get to go. =( Is it always during September or October?

Yeah, it's always labor day weekend. It's worth the trip if you can swing it next year. You need to see Natasha. She's an incredible belly dancer and the world record holder for the most swords swallowed at one time (I think it was 13). Her act is really spectacular.
