The songbirds are back. I guess after Minnesota, Hokkaido, and Canada I forgot that spring really does come this early here... and how beautiful it is. This is why spring is my favorite month. I'm gonna miss it when it's time to go. Not as much as I miss Heather though... -

Well, in the wake of the Onion's report on Diebold accidentally leaking the 2008 election results, it looks like there's been a slipup in the upcoming Russian elections. It looks like a pretty safe bet that results will show (note that I did not say this will actually happen) a 68-70% voter turnout with mini-Putin winning around 72% of those votes ( Read more... ) -

First off, I had a very weird night where I went to bed at 11, but I didn't sleep until 5. That sort of thing never happens to me, but it did last night and it sucked. I just got yelled at by a user. Usually I'm pretty safe from that kinda thing here. She had valid frustrations (she needs to make lots of email lists, and we don't have a company-wide one like we used to when we used Exchange. So I just got back from a most excellent 2 weeks with the wife and brought back a lovely cold with me - the sickest I've been in years, excepting that food poisoning thing in Japan.
