So it's mostly religious Christian folks pushing abstinence, claiming it's "the only 100% effective form of birth control," or something along those lines. But what about the Virgin Mary? Wouldn't that mean it's only 99.999% effective? -

I'm glad I don't work for Nova right now
So my time teaching in Japan was with the JET Programme, which is really the king of English teaching jobs in east Asia. In terms of pay, benefits, and sometimes working environment it doesn't get any better. So I didn't get the job, which sucks. Also part of what sucks about being an optimist. Ah well, time to go see what part-time work Costco has available. At least this means I can keep taking my class, which seems to be a good one so far. -
