Well, I am sick like you would not believe. So, when I feel crappy enough that I wake up at 5 AM on a Saturday morning because I simply cannot stay in bed any longer, the solution is OBVIOUSLY to sit and paint for four hours straight

I think the sunburn works just fine. I love her eyes. They're my favorite part. They're kind of...feral. Wild. Something about her eyes really makes me think she's more a part of the island than of the mainland.

I don't think of Lorna as a girlie-girl at all, but I do think that the soft colors you chose suit her. I could see her running amuck in a tunic and breeches, but I also suspect the tunic would be a soft coral color and would suit her to a T.

I love her expression, too. It's that vacant stare that creeps folks out, if they don't know her. And if they do, makes them think 'uh oh, here comes the personality assessment...'

She looks older than I imagined her, her face differently shaped. Long and thin instead of round. But, J'lor ever sees her as a little girl, despite his lectures, and I suspect what he sees and what is actually there has not been the same for quite some time.
