Here are more unrelated chunks:
---------------------------------------------

"And we thought we had it rough!" the shivering peanut butter jar stammered to the relish as the peas were taken out of the freezer above.
---------
Loosing his footing, the man with the terribly scarred face toppled down the stairs leading to the church.

My favorite:

"Thank God It's Tuesday!" Kyle exclaimed. No one could relate.

Joel, I wouldn't mind if you took the "unrelated chunks" idea and posted an entry of it yourself. I'm curious to see what you would come up with.

I was under the impression that you compiled these things in some writing journal and posted them when you had a big store. Do you actually set out and write all of these at once for the entry?

75% were done at once for the entry, and about 25% were taken from various places...

p.s. I'm assuming things are going to get pretty heavy tonight at NW. And I don't mean for Earth Day or Hitler's Birthday.

Oh, God. The "long one" about the churro guy is still making me laugh right now.

Good work, Ryan. Only 5/14 of them are horribly dark.

Did your getting startled/screaming motif today at practice stem from actually getting startled at some point? You do, well, startle easily.

I actually decided before a scene that I would go out and act startled when someone came in. It forces the other character to explain themself. That was based off of my current problem of being more easily startled than I normally am lately. Once I started doing it at practice, it was hard to stop.
