I just cut my hair.

I refuse to recognize anything Chris Cornell has done as an artist since he cut his long, beautiful hair in the middle nineties.

My school schedule for summer includes two classes, one of the oddest pairings possible, I believe.

Intro to Linear Algebra - 9:15, Monday- Thursday

Intro to Queer Studies - 13:00, Monday- Thursday

I look forward to not being able to apply a single skill from one class to the other.

Sometimes its hard not to let survival get in the way of living.

I'm going to need a vacation or something after this term.

The president of NOW, Kim Gandy (I think that's right, I'm not going to check) spoke in my Women and Gender 1920-Present class. She was supposed to talk about history, but the whole reason she was in town was to campaign for Hilary Clinton, so she did some of that too.

I bought a pair of skinny pants. I feel like an asshole doing it, because they're so "right now" right now. But they look really good on me. I don't know if I have the balls to wear them to school. I just realized that the last two digits of this year (08) are the reverse of the year I was born (80). I'm sure that means something.

After finishing the biography Come As You Are: The Story of Nirvana yesterday I suggested Autumn and I get married at the Satyricon, the Portland punk rock club where Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love met. But we agreed that's a bad idea because it may be bad luck.

I am excited that Portland State University made the NCAA men's basketball tournament for the first time ever. I am disappointed that they lost. I am, however, not surprised, since they're were facing the #1 ranked team ( Read more... )
