i have the d70. I never had problems with dof mainly because I don't use the lens that came with it. its a nice camera.

Yeah I know the lens you get with it, although it seemed like a pretty good lens, just didn't have the dof I was looking for. What lens do you use with it?

Wow you get an amzing amount of comments. I like how those photo's are done with colour. You should do a Colour theme. Or do a bunch of themes. I have a few ideas as well that we can discuss when you're able to.

I love them! All your pictures are amazing. Heh. I have to find one I dont like, that is my goal. Haha.

Gosh you should post a time line: bad to amazing. A theme. Progression. Well I'll be curious and make you seem human too. haha/ oh my new entry is dedicated to you and another friend of mine. You'll see why as soon as I update it. It's not amzing but I was just experimenting/ It's how we grow.

Well I'm always taking bad photos to this very day ;) I don't know what my ratio of bad photos to good photos is but it can't be very good hehe.

I have a d70...I love it and you can get a pretty shallow depth of field. You can see me practising with it

these's aren't good photographs but they do demonstrate some of the focusing techniques you can do with this camera. However, I've not found a b&w setting unfortunately.

Thanks for that it's a great help!

Yeah I've heard shooting in b&w mode isn't the best thing to do anyway. A lot more detail is kept if you shoot in colour then change it in photoshop afterwards. This is just what I heard somewhere.

Yeah I heard that too!
Hope you end up with the right camera for you. By the way, what do you think of Sensia? I just shot my first two rolls with it cause I was low on money and couldnt afford Provia, Velvia or whatever...I'm picking them up today and I'm not sure what the results will be like x
