digital cameras do come in handy with studio work. sometimes it takes a long time to get all the flashes/lights just right. you're right, you'd definitely be saving yourself quite a bit of headaches there. i don't own a digital slr, i get to use them at work though. it's a cannon rebel although i don't know the model.(which doesn't help you much) the pictures are amazing. the boss has let me take the camera out once, but i spent more time worrying about breaking it than anything.

*sigh* someday we will all have a dslr.
