you should pose this question to the paperbrigade board.

if you get cash back with such a good standard kit, i'd go for it.

i think dramatic lighting can be achieved but you'd have to waste a lot of film shots to achieve it.

what do you use for lighting?

Haha right now I'm just using basic floodlights, but it serves a good purpose of lighting everything up when bounced off the walls and roof which gives me just enough light to shoot without going into dangerously shakey shutter speeds.

i'm pretty sure that digital photography is the end of the world. i'm using digital camera too. but only to make photos for my home archive or self portraits.
digital photos are plastic.

though it is my subjective opinion. and probably you'll get good results from yr digi camera because you are a guru.

i'm glad to hear you received a good review from that guy. though i'm not surprised with his photos.

have you heard that david lynch is a sectant? but i like his films too.

I don't think it's that bad just as long as it is used in the right manner. I have seen many photographers take amazing photos with dslrs. If all film stops being produced because of digital then yes I agree, it will be the end of the world unfortunately :/

Haha yeah I have heard that and he does a lot of seminars around america preaching his thoughts on meditation and things like that but he is too much of a genius for me to care hehe :P
