Oh my god. That was the most beautiful Alex/Ben fic I have ever read. Flawless.

I am getting into such a big Ben/Alex kick. The idea of a protective, fatherly Ben is really just one of the greatest things ever.

The second I saw it, I was like "Cannot....wait....til....next Thursday!! -twitch, twitch....runs off to write fan fic-"

And thus this story was born! :D

I want canon! I am going to die of teh squee when Ben & Alex are reunited!

-looks darkly towards Team Darlton- And they'd better not screw up that moment of Ben!happiness like they always do.

That was simply wonderful. I loved it. To see this one the show would be so great. There needs to be more Ben/Alex fic like this. Thank you for sharing.

Guh. I am right there with you. I want more Ben/Alex interaction. I think that she really is his one saving grace. I mean, Juliet isn't likely to give him any lovin'...and Annie is gone to who knows where... Alex really is the only good thing he has left to cling to.

Girl, lemme tell you...I am heartbroken! For real. Hah, I was about to write a journal entry all about it.

I have been gone from LJ since Thursday just because I was so upset. I wanted to see me some Ben/Alex lovin'. Instead...we got.... :(

I am still really upset over it. LOST has never let me down before. But that was a punch to the gut.

Ohh I loved it! We totally need more Ben/Alex - canon and fanon! I'm hoping the episode on the 24th will deliver!

Anyway, awesome job, as usual, because apparently, you win at Ben fiction.

Agreed! Agreed! A thousand times agreed!

I am getting so into the relationship between Alex & Ben. I think it has so much potential for revealing a side of Ben that we haven't really been able to see before. A side that isn't selfish and manipulative...but instead very loving and wholly devoted to keeping her safe.

Ben et Alex is love!

This was excellent. Its the second night in a row I've stopped reading what I'm actually suppose to be reading for school to read some amazing fan fiction and the second night in a row I'm bawling my eyeballs out. The whole Ben as "Daddy" just touches me at some emotional level I can't quite put in to words but you seem to write to it! Thank you for sharing this story.

Thank you so much for your kind review. I'm glad I was able to touch you in such a way. That really is one of the highest compliments a writer could ever to receive - when their work manages to really reach down and tug at the emotions of the reader.

I agree, though. Daddy!Ben fills me with so much squee and delight. I am dying to see it be made canon.

If not...I'll just keep writing my stories! :P

This was just wonderful. I love reading Ben & Alex fics at the moment, even though they all break my heart - especially this one. I'd love to see them reconciled on the show; he might have a funny way of showing it sometimes, but he really, really does care for her.

(that he was/is her knight - awwww)
