I saw today that it has been officially one year since I last updated my journal. I might be interested in starting it again, if there are people interested. Otherwise, of course, it would make no ense for me to keep updating. I am alive, healthy, and happy in other news, so ll is good.

It seems as if my mp3 player is behaving, for now. Once I had drained the batteries, I tried it again, and it gave me a hell of a lot of trouble (having deleted most of the music I put on but not letting me delete the rest so it might be able to function again, not being able to format), but in the end I seem to have made it work for now. I'm constantly hungry today and I keep feeding myself. But it doesn't help one bit.

The DVD of our dance recital (DancElements, in which we try to represent the four western elements) is finished! And I have already seen it, it's pretty nice. Although I do feel that the position of the camera sucks, as it is too high and as a consequence everything seems really tame. During the whole of the past week the skies over the Netherlands have been beyond words. With only the colours white, grey, blue, and yellow, and their various shades, such an incredible array of shapes, contrasts, and overall hugeness, vastness, and awe-inspiringness have been produced. Somehow I seem to have developed a natural instinct to always go over the amount of words set for essays. An essay supposed to be 1200 words is now about 1800, and I use 2900 words to write essays of 2000-2500 words. Tonight I feel really tired. The air is the best it's been since winter, it's very soft and cool and refreshing and soothing at the same time, like a blanket, or like water.
