It was actually good! I really like this movie- it's my favorite of the Potter movies so far. They got all of the main plot points and still made it terribly exciting.

It's really cold and I have all my winter sweaters back home. grr. More cases of bird flu deaths in Indonesia, yikes.

In a moment of weakness, I bought the new season of Lost and paid extra to have it shipped express. I don't know what came over me. One minute I'm all calm, and the next I MUST HAVE LOST! Besides internet friends in Louisianna, my 4 cousins and my aunt and uncle live in a suburb of New Orleans. Though they were able to evacuate and are currently staying in Florida, I'm still really worried about them. They aren't well off finacially, and there in a very precarious situation. Wow! Just saw a crack of lightning. I always find it cool when you actually see the crack and not just the surrounding light. It's been mad hot here for the past two days, but I'm hoping that the thunderstorm might break the heat. It went from cloudy to down pour in about 2 minutes, so maybe the heat will rain itself out. So I've been working at Nordstroms, and on Friday I had to work from 11 am to 9 pm. This seriously cut into my waiting on line for HBP. I went directly from work to the sidewalk of the store where I bought HBP. Oddly enough, it was just me (in my lawn chair) and another (empty) lawn chair.
