Adrienne made her way down the beach, she kept looking behind her every once and a while to make sure the young girl was still following her.

They were on a mission, Adrienne was pretty sure with her shoulder that she couldn't climb a tree, in fact she doubted she could have climbed a tree even if she hadn't injured herself. She tapped her fingers ( Read more... )

*Followed behind Adrienne in a bit of a stifled waddle, her arms wrapped protectively around her little chest, hidden by the overly large grey shirt that covered her little shorts which held inside of them a small bag of white podwer (Charlie's), that rubbed against her side, no doubt making a red mark as it had been doing so for weeks now. Her bare feet sinking into the sand hiding their dirtiness, their worness, the scratches from the naked jungle floor that had graced her skin.*

*Following behind Adrienne softly (not that she could of accomplished loudly if she wanted to), she would stare at the ground and sand the entire way, anywhere but towards other people's eyes, as if she were ashamed, as if she were a freak and knew it. She could feel Adrienne look back at her but this time she did not glare in order to cast her eyes away, she felt nervous enough and for the moment being, Adrienne was her baricade*

Adrienne sighed, everyone around the beach looked busy. She kept walking. If worse came to worse Adrienne supposed that she would have to climb the tree herself-- hopefully she wouldn't fall out and die.
