"Oh, isn't that a James Bond song?" bf asked, as i thought to myself "uhhhh I thought it was a remake of a Robbie Williams song." ah well. I did sob silently while watching that MM scene.
I need to visit NOLA someday. Maybe in a year or two my boyfriend and I will take a trip down there.
There's no fucking rules, d00d.
Amen. As I've gotten older, I've become more comfortable in my own skin. And I'm trying to live in the present, rather than dwell on the past or worry about the future. Who knows where we'll be in 5 years, in 10 years? For now I just want to learn new things and enjoy life.

yes, do that -- th wife and I have already had our first set of visitors & look forward to more
Th thing w/ rules is, they're there to maintain social order as a whole -- which I don't hate -- but they don't help an individual become a better person. Th individual has to make his own rules for that, and those rules are often STRICTER than anything society has to offer

Yes, it is hard to live by your own rules, but it is ultimately more rewarding.
I know very little Spanish, but I always wanted to learn more.
I don't like Facebook either, but I just happened to see your post there. I read LJ all the time and I'm glad to have a few good friends who still post regularly.
aw ah don't really hate F-book but ah do love talking shit ...... Billy Ray is my personal lord & saviour of el gay -- long thoughtful personal posts w/ tons of good songs ... ah'll never declare th patient legally dead long as Billy's here
This story has been continuing since I was still posting! A lifetime ago! You gave me Shuggie Otis. I miss this scene, too. No internet at the house means I live in tiny bites on the Face. Which are a sign of affection in some cultures. Mostly cats and rodents.
and i m ready to cash it in boom boom boomlostcosmonautJune 20 2012, 20:56:22 UTC
ah sorta like bein one of th last ones here -- oddly enough it's th longest commitment ah ever made to one thing, and it started off as an accident ......
Hope you like th two songs I posted this time, too -- they both have been on heavy rotation in my neighbourhood

yes NOLA! Been here 6 weeks now, love th humidity, love th public park w/ ducks & swans etc. near my house, no job yet, have been using this time to catch up on some reading and, now, writing
I was just in NOLA for over a week and no idea you lived there dude - I visited the French Market and bought paintings from Dr. Bob and stayed in the Bywater.

john MASTERS how th hell ya been bro -- Bywater's cool, ah hope you loved it there/here. Me, this is my favourite American city, ah already feel @ home, if a little lonely from being so far away from my VA family & friends
Last time I was @ French Mkt, there was a guy there selling DVDs of his film about train-hopping. Turns out NOLA is a strong stronghold for punk types. Yes, def next time -- I plan 2B here 4 a long time
Mebbe ah'll see you @ SPX in September, though -- @ last year's one, th wife and ah got a hotel room and we (& Stacey) got v. drunk using free drink tickets and got hit on by Craig Thompson. Well, th girls got hit on by Craig Thompson, I didn't
