I went back to the apartment today to check up on everything. There was a layer of dust on everything; little surprise as I have not been around hardly at all since Edward left. I dusted everything off, then sat and watched the clockwork city for a while. It is very peaceful and beautiful, and I love the reminder of home, but at the same time it makes me a little homesick. Work on the transporter is going slowly. I have repaired as much of the exterior as I can, given limited supplies, but it is not the exterior I am worried about. I honestly have no idea how to rewire it and make it functional. It was hooked up to those computer things before, and I am fairly positive I cannot make one of those. My knowledge fails me miserably for the time being. I think tomorrow I may start carefully trying to dismantle it and see if I can get any clues that way.

I had a thought recently, and I wanted to clear it with you before I pursued it further. If Edward's psychiatrist and I were able to come up with a case that house arrest is doing more harm to his mental health than it is helping, do you think we might be able to get his sentence lifted? Or at least changed? It seems to me that a large reason for his desire to escape was that he was feeling much too trapped, and he needed freedom again, so... Perhaps removing that restraint might make him less reluctant to return home, and it would most likely help him, ah, clear his mind a bit.

Gluttony, may I bother you with another request?

Brother, is there any way you might be able to take a bit of time off work and spend time with me..?
