I am afraid to say that this morning, while headed to the library, I found Alphonse (the one with Herr Pokeylope, that is) lying unconscious on a side street. I took him to the hospital where he is being cared for, but he has not woken up yet. I do not know what happened to him, but it looked as though he must have been in some sort of fight. We

Um, I can help cook for Oktoberfest again. I could make some more pfeffernusse and maybe some spaetzle and things like that, if you'd like.

::smiles softly:: Danke, that would be wonderful.

If there's anything else you want me to cook, just let me know.

I will, of course. Does that weekend work for you, then?

Ah... what is Oktoberfest? If it involves cooking, I'll be more than happy to help out, of course.

At my home it is a huge citywide party to celebrate the start of autumn wth food and drink and music and everything imaginable. Obviously we cannot do something on that sort of scale here, but it is still an opportunity to put on a small festival for whoever wants to come. I am glad to hear you are interested in helping out... I am sure if you wanted to copy down some recipes from Germany, Edward would let you borrow his cookbook, but really you are welcome to make whatever you like.

Oh, that sounds like so much fun! I would love to be involved then, especially since I missed out on that flower festival. *eyes light up* Ooooh, I would love to try out some recipes from your world! I made a dinner once with recipes from some place called France and it was just simply amazing! You say Edward has a cookbook? And he would lend it to me?

It is fun, ja. ::smiles at her enthusiasm, then laughs:: France, you say? Well. German food is much better, naturally. ::chuckles:: Different, at least. Ja, he does, and I doubt he would mind at all if you borrowed it for a while to look through and copy things from. He will need it back before the festival, of course, as he wants to bring some things too. But next time you see him, you should ask to borrow it. Or I could ask him for you, I suppose. You may not run into him often.

I'm more than willing to cook. Just tell me what you want made.

Ah, danke. Perhaps I will put together a menu of some sort to plan a little better. Would you mind doing some sort of chicken or turkey dish, though, at least? And then whatever side dishes you feel like making. If you do not mind waiting a bit, though, I can suggest more specific recipes.

Sure, I don't mind. Get back to me when you can about what you want cooked and I'll see what I can do.

Alright then, I will do that. Danke, again.
