Things have fallen back into routine for me, after that mess a week ago. The classes were postponed and started last Wednesday because of what happened, thankfully. It's tiring having to work, then rush off to the college for class, but I think I'll get the hang of it soon enough.

I hope everyone else has been doing well.

Sorry I haven't been around these last few weeks. Things have just been too busy. The university ended up accepting me (there was a lot of celebrating after that phone call) and I've been trying to work out a new schedule, so I can work and go to school. My interview was yesterday. I think it went pretty well, but I won't know that for sure until they've finished interviewing everyone else. They said they'd call me once they've made their decision. ...I'm going to really dislike waiting for this.

...The university finally got in contact with me today. I passed the test! I was worried for a moment there because of how long it was taking them. I need to go in for an interview, still, so I haven't been accepted yet, but it's definitely a step closer to my goal.

*beams* I can't wait to tell granny!

...I officially hate tests. I was in that room for too long and some of those questions were just annoying.

I think a nice, hot bath is just what I need now.

Turns out I didn't have to go to work today, so I decided to head to the hospital for the day. I stepped into the children's ward and found quite the surprise; Ballie was being his usual self by fighting off shadow monsters while he and his mother waiting for some test results. Work has been going well and I did some questioning down at the hospital. Found out that they offer a couple scholarships themselves, so I'll apply for those as soon as I can. It looks like a lot of the doctors and a few nurses went to the university around here that's named after the city, so I think I'll check it out and see about placement exams ( Read more... )
