It is amazing how much stuff can break when you are out of the office for a week. I was about ready to go back to NYC so I could escape all this again. I spent the better part of this week fixing our webservers which certain professors didnt bother to test their content out on. I just got done spending a week up in New York City (on FSU's dime of course). All I can say is WHAT A TRIP. I got to hang out with my friend Alex who moved up to NYC from Tallahassee about a year ago. It's nice to see that he's holding his own up there... Oh yeah.... Have I mentioned that rain SUCKS? I love a good rainstorm, but EVERY FREAKIN DAY???? Dont give me lip about how it's Florida and it rains every day.... Well, here we are.... Start of the Fall semester is a mere 6 weeks away which means the "normal" routine is about to start up again... which I'm all in favor of. I miss not teaching.
