Nathan had a doctors appointment today and the doctor wanted him to have a chest x-ray because of his cold. We went to St. Mary's for the x-ray and while I was waiting for Nathan a lady sitting across from me was talking with two other men. They were talking about religion and things of that nature. Today is day sixty of Nathan's 100 days. As the time dwindles down it's getting harder and harder to be patient for the return home. Forty days will seem like forever. Nathan and I are getting so homesick that we refuse to watch a Christmas video made for us by Nate's step-dad

Nathan has gone to the ER three times now. He's been getting severe headaches and vomitting...apparently the cause is an overdose of a medicine to prevent his body from rejecting the transplant. They've just told him to stop taking the medicine for awhile and see if his headaches go away

Nathan is feeling much better. The pain medicine gave him only a little relief, it was primarily his body beginning to heal that did the trick. His counts are now almost up to normal, which is very positive news
