David Levithan's character, Paul, suggests that it's the hand when you're walking and holding hands with someone you are romantically interested in. I think he might be right.

I'm now thinking about how awesome it will be to hold Justin's hand. I wish he was here, so bad.

Today has been an impossible day for my thoughts. I've been extremely productive at work, but I have so many thought processes going on that I want to verbalize but I can't. Winter is approaching, already, here. I'm not really looking forward to it.
