This is what happens when fascists are installed in the U.S. Government whether that is executive, legislative, or judicial branches.

I was yelling at the radio today on the way home when I heard this.

People have certain rights, no matter where they are from or what country they are from

Sounds like you want to have these guys at Gitmo over for dinner soon. Point out one person at Gitmo who is should not be held there. The average weight gain per occupant is 20 lbs... doesn't sound like they are hurting for food while in detention! I'd rather have Cindy Sheehan's Freedom Fighters in confinement rather than blowing up innocent people, but that's just me.

This is the part where you look up the torture statics in moveon.org, or media matters and insert here --->

Go for it... I'm sure it's accurate.

I don't see any mention of the Fort Dix Six as well. Can't ignore that story either. I guess if you ignore it, it doesn't exist.

There's a reason I took you off my friends list, please go away.

You have no idea what I've posted since this time,... if you didn't notice this post is a month and a half old, I make most of my posts private.

For the absolute last time, I get no statistics or facts from moveon.org or media matters. I don't even know what media matters is. This specific article is sourced at the BBC. One organization I do trust, is Amnesty International, and they seem to be in agreement with me on this issue.

BESIDES, I oppose torture regardless of the circumstances.

And yet again, as far as my personal journal goes (which is exactly what this is) I can ignore, disregard, or just NOT ever even hear or read about every news event.

I work full time, I just moved, and I'm not a part of the news media. It's not my job to focus on every single event on the planet, only the ones I feel like writing or telling the folks on my friends list about.
