Oh, goody, I love these! There was something very perfect and yet imperfect about Sherlock's jealousy - it's the low side of his character that John has to live with and love. And I'm glad John is getting his light back - it must be nice to feel he can be useful. And of course he would act as Mummy Holmes' backup (incidentally, how kind of her to take in the children!)

More, if you please! This was just right.

Thank you very much for your lovely comments! Classist!Jealous!Sherlock isn't very nice at all but it's good to get to explore their personality flaws. :) More will be along soon.

I love seeing John put Sherlock in his place. Yet there's something strangely endearing about petulant Sherlock, and it makes me all weepy later when he feels bad about the way he is. It was nice to see our boys out and about, away from Baker St. And meeting Mummy, finally! Lovely piece, as usual :)

Hurrah, I'm so glad you enjoyed this! Sherlock would be pretty useless without John to keep him in check in this 'verse, I feel. Thank you for your lovely comments, as ever! <3

I know the feeling of being the creator of strange baked goods well. XD Hope they tasted nice regardless.

I'm so glad you liked this update! I think Mary and Sherlock are a bit too similar to form any sort of working relationship, haha. And don't tempt me...

I'll never find quite the right words to express how much I love this 'verse of yours. I loved the different snapshots this chapter gave us: Sherlock in the role of mummy's boy and jealous partner, John as the kindly doctor and the solider who won't put up with Sherlock's childish crap. And that last scene pulled ever single one of my heartstrings. Lovely job! <3

Oh, thank you very much indeed! It's lovely to hear that you're enjoying this, it really is. I'm doing a course at university about the history of emotion and the last couple of weeks have been about the 1940s, so I'm trying to work in what I'm learning from that into this! <3
