I confess, I *am* excited! This is surprising for me, because this is usually my whining stage of the process, coupled with a healthy dose of procrastination. But since I now have hold of the cottontail of the formerly elusive plotbunny (have put the work stress on a back burner at last!) I have high hopes for getting off to a good start!!!

Yay for you! It's always great to be able to put the real world behind and get drawn into the story you are making.

I reread (and did some nitpicking) what I had written already (about 30,000 words, but I'm thinking to finish this one up I'll need another 20K), and many parts made me laugh.

Since I'm writing a humorous story, that's a good thing. :)

And I had enough momentum after that to do a bit of new composition, which was very pleasantly surprising!

Finally found out how to write the frame story - yay! My beta was right about this being the best way to present the story, but I just couldn't get a grip on it until today. :-)

(As to word count, I've passed the 20K total; unfortunately, this does not mean the story is anywhere near finished. I write slooooowly.... )

I wrote over 2000 words today, and don't feel exhausted in the least for it! I wish I could pull this off every day!

I wrote over 10,000 words this week alone in order to finish up on time. I don't think I've ever written so much in such a short amount of time -- thank goodness I had the week off. Now I'm hoping I'll stay in the groove of that kind of writing; just think of all my covered-in-dust WIPs that could be finished up if I'd just apply myself to writing them? ;-)

Yay for finishing a day early!
