I really liked what you did with Roslin's arguments in light of the twist of her having a son. Felt very true to the show.

Heh, my beta said the same thing! I guess he doesn't quite realise how much his Dad's "be a man" speeches actually did infiltrate--I was watching "33" again the other day and their whole exchange about "A man takes responsibility for his actions, son" kinda made me want slap Bill a little bit cos that shit has nothing to with masculinity. Does a woman not take responsibility for her acttions then? Ass.

That whole Roslin bit was a last minute addition, actually. One of my betas pointed out that I rather glossed over that bit so I went back in and wrote the scene--and it was like the last puzzle piece.

I have started chapter seven and I am gonna try and see if I can make a new personal record with getting it done and posted. So that gives me a month or two... ;)

Poor Lee has no idea what he's doing. At least he is trying halfheartedly? But yeah, he has rather a-ways to go.

He almost came clean. We'll never really know whether he would have done had Kara not come swooping back in at the last minute. I like to think he would have. ;)

Thanks for updating. It's been a while. The only thing that bothers me about this fic is Lee not acknowledging to others that Seb is his son.

I understand the part of him not comforting Seb, it comes with the the territory that is Lee. In my mind, Lee is uncomfortable with many things, children being one them. And that's why this chapter is so good. We've already seen Lee's awkwardness with Seb in the previous chapters and this chapter continues with the process.

Keep up the wonderful work and update real soon.

Lee's quite screwed up, yeah. He's got a lot of twisted ideas in his head about the whole thing - not the least of which is that he both betrayed his brother and took advantage of Kara when she was at her most vulnerable. On top of that, he has quite a strong need for parental approval himself so he's kinda stuck on confessing all that to his dad.

It's going to be a while, but he'll get there. :)

And I loved Lee's first tentative moments with Sebastian... And the flashbacks, ah, foolish desperate pilots and their sexually suggestive cocktails!

:D Glad to know people are still reading! Yes, they were rather impetuous, weren't they? And now they have a precocious 5yo to show for it.

Personally I am finally glad to be done with these two episodes... it's taken over a year to write through them!
