Good news: The biopsy showed that the enlarged lymph node that they had seen on Lois's CT was just caused by the infection she had gotten in her lungs, not something cancerous. She is also a little stronger today. Still a lot of work to do, though.

Last night I had a pretty dramatic ambulance ride and a jolly visit to the ER due to chest pain that was quite fantastic in its intensity. It felt like a knife stuck in my right lung and went from a 0 to 9 on the pain scale in about a minute and a half or two. I'm pretty used to various chest pains, but that was unique and I couldn't take a breath ( Read more... )
