my dad called me at like, 3:30 to say he was on park avenue. so, i asked him if he would come by my office, and shockingly, he did. Well. I didn't even know he was in town. Which is kind of easier, really.

Also she saw The Shondes play in the basement of the old Knitting Factory, but I guess he forgot?

I DIDN"T KNOW EITHER until he called me to say he was "walkin down park ave." also. he actually did mention the KF show too, i just forgot. and hey now - it wasn't the basement!! it was the tap bar. with mecca normal! he said: "and i saw you at that big club downtown!!" i happen to remember that i was wearing a) a black and white striped shirt from H&M and b) mets wrist cuffs and c) um...something else weird. beaded necklace? anyway. he ALSO saw me sing my big solo from an american tale at my 5th grade graduation, I THINK. though since it was never spoken of at the time or since, maybe he was outside?

Basement, tap bar...I've been to a lot of somewhere downstairs knit shows featuring ppl in my RL, they blend. I don't remember or see anything else weird:
