Well here I am in NEW YORK with my mum and sister on a very patchy internet connection at midnight, I've been walking all day and my legs are ACHING but New York is amazing... we went to Soho today which has great shopping and the atmosphere is so wonderful.... we came to New York for two days when I was in Year 5 so we've pretty much done the ( Read more... )

Times Square is absolutely amazing at night with all the lights assaulting your senses. If I'm heading back home through Times Square I always get off and walk around there a bit before heading back on my way. You have reminded me that I really need to get around to seeing some shows. It's been on my to-do list forever but I haven't gotten around to it yet and only have about three weeks left. Check out some of the art galleries as well. I was really impressed with the Guggenheim (unfortunately the outside is being restored at the moment so it does look as fancy as it normaly would but it's gorgeous inside ( ... )

Oh wow thankyou for the websites! We left New York yesterday actually (we're just outside of Providence at the moment) but we might be coming back for a couple of days just before we fly home (in about two weeks). I will let you know - I'd definitely be up for a bit of NY nightlife as it's a family trip so I haven't really been going out after 9...

i'm in love with urban outfitters... if i could, i'd redecorate my whole house like that. Have heaps of fun!! when do you get home? xxx

Oh same here... the shop is just gorgeous, as are the clothes! If I lived in the US I would definitely want to work there.
